Hello ! Awkward Aardwolf was an old comic that I made in 2013 while still trying to learn how to use digital drawing programs, and what colour, size, and style would best fit a comic form. While I did think of leaving it as lost media because of how old and embarrassing it looked, I did in the end decide to compile it all into a page just for 'old time sake'. If you somehow manage to find this page, feel free to enjoy it ~
It was sometime around here where I decided to bite the bullet and change style and layout. The contrast especially was for the better as it's more legible.
I made a reboot not only for the change in style but I also wanted to introduce a sort of story instead of single jokes the previous version had. But in retrospect, this first reboot I think was my best. Over time I found out I write better when it's straight jump from one point to the next without having to pad anything in the middle.
About this time I got too over myself and rebooted the story. I was reading other webcomics at the time and saw that they had a slow methodical way of storytelling which I thought I had to follow. But over time I had many strips which I feel are just unnecessary padding, but I could not remove because they were steps that was needed for the story. After a long while and too late I didn't feel the second reboot was worth it but at the same time I was too far in to reboot again and the comic slowly fizzled after that.
While I desperately wish in another timeline I could redo this comic again, there are a few strips here and there which I still feel is a bit funny for what it's worth.
This would have been the final style, I sort of liked the rose colour scheme. And the characters all got a design overhaul. Pity it didn't last long.
